AN•K9 offers a range of training and enrichment services including structured pack walks, 1:1 behaviour and training sessions, group training classes, Scent Detection Club, lure coursing sessions and an adventure-based day service combining outdoor adventures, training, enrichment and structured rest.

Alex works with dogs of all breeds, ages and training backgrounds, including dogs who may struggle in more traditional group environments, with a strong emphasis on creating calm, capable and confident dogs.

She believes training should be enjoyable and rewarding for both dog and owner, with plenty of focus on engagement, enrichment and building a positive working relationship.

Sent Work
We joined the beginners scent work class with Alex and both myself and my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. My dog can be reactive and it was in a hall but Alex made sure we had plenty of space to set us up for success! We enjoyed learning the basics and working up through the more complicated searches and you could tell all the dogs loved it. We have carried on using the kit she gave us as part of the course and putting everything into practice. It’s a great activity to do with your dog on hot days or if they are on restricted exercise. Would definitely recommend the course to anyone wanting to give scent work a go!
Reactivity
We can’t recommend Alex enough! We used her for our rescue dog Luca for an intensive train to help with his reactivity last year. She is calm, patient and kind - everything you need to help support you and your dog when things seem unbearable! Her knowledge of dogs and behaviour is unmatched and after 6 weeks we were so happy to see such a noticeable difference in Luca, it really has been life changing! We loved Alex so much that we carried on with fortnightly pack walks with her to continue expanding on Luca’s socialising in the safest hands we know. Thanks again for everything Alex, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Off Lead
We loved Alex’s scent work classes. It’s a fantastic class for all breeds and ages to gain confidence in their sniffing abilities and have a lot of fun in the process.
